Tarik El-Khateeb is a Toronto-based multidisciplinary brand designer and illustrator who loves typography and a perfectly brewed pot of tea. With a Master's Degree in Graphic Communication from the University for the Creative Arts, UK, and a Master's of Design degree in Digital Futures from OCAD University, Canada; his life-long passion for visual storytelling and world building has taken him down various creative paths from branding and packaging to animation and, most recently, game design.

Tarik's art and design work has been exhibited in the North America, Europe and the MENA region. He has created illustrations for National Geographic, G Adventures and the Canadian Mental Health Association, amongst others. He has worked with acclaimed Japanese anime director Makoto Shinkai and has won two Adobe awards at the Cannes Film Festival, France. He has volunteering as a designer for the Maker Festival Toronto, and is currently working in the quantum computing industry.
