Tarik El-Khateeb is a Toronto-based multidisciplinary designer and illustrator who loves typography and a perfectly brewed pot of tea. With a Master's Degree in Graphic Communication from the University for the Creative Arts, UK, and a Master's of Design degree in Digital Futures from OCAD University, Canada; his life-long passion for visual storytelling and world building has taken him down various creative paths from branding and packaging to animation and, most recently, game design.

Tarik's art and design work has been exhibited in the UK, Turkey, Jordan and Canada. His illustrations were featured on the covers of JO and Venture magazines in the Middle East. He has worked on the anime movie, "Children Who Chase Lost Voices" in Japan with acclaimed Japanese director Makoto Shinkai and has won two awards at the Adobe Reel Ideas Studios; part of the 60th Cannes Film Festival. He has also been volunteering as a designer for the Maker Festival Toronto since 2015.
